The artwork Blue-Purple-Yellow-Red is part of my exploration of the emotional and physical impact of colour through printmaking. Each colour has its own unique vibrational wavelength and chemical activation, which can evoke different emotions and sensations within us. In this particular artwork, I have chosen to combine Blue, Purple, Yellow, and Red. Blue is a cool, calming colour that is often associated with tranquility and relaxation. Purple is a mystical and spiritual colour that can evoke a sense of mystery and creativity. Yellow is a bright and energetic colour that is often associated with optimism and happiness. Finally, Red is a passionate and intense colour that can evoke feelings of excitement and energy. Through the combination of these colours, I aim to convey a sense of balance and harmony. Each colour has its own unique place within the artwork, and they work together to create a cohesive and vibrant whole. By exploring the relationship between these colours and their impact on our emotions and senses, I hope to encourage viewers to reflect on their own experiences with colour and the ways in which it affects their lives.
